Rolls & Responsibilities
- develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and pages based on design specifications and requirements.
- implement responsive web design techniques to ensure optimal display and usability across various devices and screen sizes.
- write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
- collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate mockups and wireframes into interactive and functional web pages.
- integrate third-party applications, plugins, and APIs into the Shopify platform as needed.
- optimize website performance by minimizing file sizes, optimizing images, and improving page load times.
- conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent functionality and appearance.
- troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, identifying and implementing appropriate solutions.
- stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and Shopify platform updates.
- collaborate with the team to continuously improve development processes, workflows, and coding standards.
- assist with content management tasks, including adding and updating product information, images, and descriptions.
